Do you believe in magic

Ok. No matter how boring these may sound to you guys, I will still have to post something about these stuff.

Ever since we were infants till toddler-hood till rebelling teenage-hood till the time we are a fully grown adult, "Happily Ever After~" will usually be the ending of a romantic fairytale or a romantic story. And whoever can forget quotes such as 'Love At First Sight' or 'Nothing Is Impossible' or 'Opposites Attract' or 'Chivalry Is Dead' or 'What Is Yours Is Yours' and the list goes on and on and on.

For a whole month of March, there were numerous stories told to me and scenes witnessed by me which is a real eye-opener for me to see how skeptical I was towards these famous sayings. Ok. Not all of them. I am still not convinced with 'love at first sight'. Maybe 'love at first sight - regrets come after' will convince me but otherwise, nope!


'HAPPILY EVER AFTER' only happens in fairytales, no? NO! Ok~ I agree that we may not know what happened to Cinderella or Snow White AFTER their wedding ceremony in the hands of their fated Prince Charmings. In the REAL WORLD, happily-ever-afters do exist. Well, everyone has an option. They can choose whether to stay happy or otherwise. Planned well and smooth-easy-goingness and everyday will be a Valentines Day for you. Since fairytales are told one-sidedly, who knows what might happen if the witches or enchanted magical evil creatures planned their way through well enough, like maybe using their magic powers or potion to make them eternally beautiful or clean their property or communicate with little cute creatures like Sleeping Beauty and Princess Giselle, the witches themselves might even ended up with someone handsome and live happily ever after!!!!!!!

Most of us tends to keep the memory of the past relationships so tightly that it is close to impossible to start and accept a new relationship. Yes, it is hard to let go. But if it is meant to be, it is meant to be. It is like keeping a bird in a cage. The pitiful creature, tied up unable to fly freely and tweet with other feathered friends of its. Let it go for once, if it flies back to u, it is meant to be yours. If it does not, then why force it to come back and lock it with you. Of course I am not just saying these for the sake of saying it. I have full and strong proofs that 'what is yours is yours' is real and a solid statement. In short, I will definitely not pass this bragging-chance to tell the world that MY COUSIN IS GETTING ENGAGED TO THE SAME WONDERFUL MAN AFTER 3 YEARS OF A BREAK UP! WOOTS! *jumps around in extreme excitement*.

Also, CHIVALRY is definitely not quite as dead in today's era as we think it is. I will dedicate this part to this friend of mine whom, even though it did not work out the way intended, faced the defeat ever-so admirably. Not giving up, he did a number of things to honor the doodette he likes. Showering her with poetry, loves, gifts and treating her like a princess.

Ok. After all those, this is actually the main highlight of this post.

'Nothing is impossible'. Mixing something totally different, you may ended up getting something totally new and beautiful.

A number of you might know what happened exactly for me to post about these stuff. How two truly different people can ended up being together. I am definitely not talking the religion way. But in terms of personality, capability, performances, mentally and physically differences, and yet, they fell in love with each other and without hesitation (literally WITHOUT hesitation) they got together and totally shocked the circle (it did, didn't it!!!! WAHAHAHAHA!!). They ARE both different from appearance, tastes, emotionally, mentally, personality, characteristics, basically EVERYTHING about the pair of them are different. None matched each other in fact. Yet, they definitely must have found something possibly similar between them which attracted them towards each other. They are truly a pair of 'opposites attract'. I DID NOT MAKE THIS UP! IT IS CLOSE TO IMPOSSIBLE TO MAKE THESE STUFFS UP! I swear in the name of the many beautiful CAKES that all these are true.

Yin and Yang truly lived up to their names. Black and White. Gold and Silver. Cats and Dogs. I could not say it more. It is definitely indescribable. But my eyes were truly and magnificently opened the day the news was told to me. I was regretful how unconvinced I was towards the 'opposites attract' statement. But now, only now, that I truly understand how wrongly I have misjudged the statement *dramatic*. I, Christie Wong, hereby, totally and truthfully and solemnly accept this statement to be the truest statement of all. Thank you!

Something different about me..

Ok~!

Here goes!

As promised (to you-know-who-you-are *smirks*), I will dedicate a post about the interesting presentation I will soon be doing this coming Monday in my Managerial Communication class. We (my tutorial mates and I) are to prepare, bring and present 4 objects which signify each and everyone of us. It is pretty much like 'show and tell'.

1. Object 1: An item which people recognises me as or associate me with or will think of me when they see that item.
2. Object 2: An item which shows a hidden area or a hidden personality of yourself.
3. Object 3: An item which a relative or a close friend will describe you with.
4. Object 4: An item chosen from a partner in class on how he/she percepts you.
   

So, obviously, without hesitation, I did the object 3 right after tasks were given out. So this is what the Bestie described me as: A COLOURFUL LOLLIPOP! Reason being: Christie is colourful and cheers her up like how a lollipop can cheer a little kid up *smiles*. So Object 3 was settled in less than an hour.

Next, out of curiousity, I asked the close friend back hometown. To my surprise, this is how she described me as: A Clown! *LAUGHS!!* Reason being: I am funny and I cheer people around me up. Kinda like brightening up the atmosphere and stuff. Hehehehe. (Sorry, girl! But I could not stop laughing when you told me that! HAHAHA!)
It was then I told the other close friend back hometown about the Clown which she laughed her a** off and totally overly enjoying the moment imagining me in a red nose, cycling and juggling and wearing McDonald's yellow shoes! As soon as she stopped laughing, she told me her point of view. This is what she describe me as: Bunny and Fluffy = Fluffy Bunny. Reason being: Fluffiness due to the fact I am overly crazy about cute stuffs and Bunny due to the fact that bunnies are innocent creatures and to her, I am extremely innocent.

Since I need only 1 object for each task, I proceed to survey and ask a few more friends on what kind of item or object they will recognised me instantly and associate me with. Task: Object 1.

Here are some answers I received.

• CAKES! Why? Just because I will go extremely hyper and absolutely adore cakes. Therefore, to some, when they see or eat or buy an extremely lovely decorated and delicious cake, 'Christie' will popped up in their minds.
• STARBUCKS! Why? Just because I am a Starbucks hardcore fan and an addict. To some of them, from the fact I always choose Starbucks Coffee to study or to finish up my assignment or plainly just to hang out and chit chat, they associate me with Starbucks Coffee.
• TEDDY! To most of my mates, teddies = Christie. Undeniably, I am a fan. I tend to squeeze or cuddle any cute teddies in any gift shops.
• ICE CREAMS! I have close mates telling me that the only way to keep me less hyper and to be less bouncy and annoying and to avoid me singing and dancing and jumping around while hanging out with them in malls (in short: a way to control Christie's annoying habits), is by feeding ice creams to me while walking in malls. Due to the fact that I will be fully concentrated on the ice cream and I will forget about my dancing, moving around and singing.
• FOOD! You will notice by now that people tend to associate me with anything to do with food. For some, instead of categorising which food group I am into, they gave up and associate me with anything to do with food in general. During my study times in KL, this is what my mates will hear from me all the time "I'm hungry~~~~" and off we will go to hunt for food!
• LOVEY-DOVIES! To a few of my friends who knew, I had been listening and taking in too many love stories since like I-can't-even-remember.
• BUBBLES! Reason being: Christie-is-BUBBLY! LOL!
• This is long. A CHOCOLATE BROWNIE WITH VANILLA ICE CREAM! The reason is interesting too. Reason: Christie is sweet (vanilla ice cream) yet she is mysterious in some ways (melty chocolate brownie). LOL!!

Isn't it interesting to know what and how different people will have a different perception of you and your personality and your character? So you readers! Give it a try. You will be very amazed to hear what answers you will be getting. At some point it is boosting and motivating and the results can help you change and improve yourself *smiles*
